Overview: The apartment was in really bad shape. The piping was leaking and old, the room was full of moisture and there was no kitchen area.
Challenge: The customer had a very small budget. The apartment needed to be able to be rented for short-term but also long-term so it needed to have all the necessary appliance and areas in only 20m2!
The apartment needed to have a separate living room area and a feeling of openness and light.
What we did: We used whatever was available in the apartment to renovate it with a very very low cost.
All the plumbing was changed and a kitchen area added.
The bed was raised into a loft with stairs so that the living room area was separate from the sleeping area. we built an area into the bathroom that can house a full-size washing machine and hidden areas to use as closet and storage space.
The bathroom was re-tiled and a hanging toilet added for room. A shower area was added.
Financial & Management: We help the customer with a full service management of this property. From listing to welcoming guests and cleaning. The customer paid for the renovation within 2 months of renting and the apartment is rented at almost 100% occupancy.
